Use aquaculture to end Mille Lacs gillnetting

Save sports-fishing economy, create jobs, and protect natural resources

The Resource Sentinel sent letters to President Obama and Governor Dayton, asking them to stop commercial gill netting of game fish in Mille Lacs. Resource Sentinel editor Hanson asked them and the Congressional Select Committee on The Budget Deficits to stop the commercial gill-net destruction of local sports-fishing tourism economies and instead create new jobs and industry with infrastructure investments in water treatment facilities for aquaculture fish farming.

In letters to U. S. Attorney B. Todd Jones, in the Minneapolis office of the U. S. Justice Department and U. S. Attorney General Eric Holder, Resource Sentinel editor Hanson asks for investigations of three separate issues.

2. “Bullying” by State and local Human Rights groups that call citizens “racists” for questioning destructive, corrupt and unconstitutional Tribal Business Councils whose agendas destroy local economies and social fabric.

3. That United States Attorney General Eric Holder’s agency investigate possible criminal activity by The Republican Party, Citizens Against Gaming Expansion, The Taxpayers League and Tribal Gambling Lobbyists.
